Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a significant milestone in his political career on Wednesday, celebrating 25 years of continuous public service during an address at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ in New Delhi. Modi used the occasion to express gratitude to citizens and party workers, while emphasizing his vision for a developed India by the year 2047.

Reflecting on his journey, which began when he assumed the role of Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, Modi acknowledged that he had not foreseen reaching such a milestone. He credited the trust and support of the people as vital sources of strength throughout his political life. Modi emphasized the role both supporters and critics played in shaping his path, stating that while his supporters offered encouragement, his critics taught him resilience and introspection.

The Prime Minister reiterated his call for collective efforts to transform India into a developed nation by 2047. Stressing the importance of self-reliance, he articulated India’s ambition to rank among the world’s top three economies. Modi highlighted the necessity of unified efforts from citizens to achieve these national goals.

In his speech, Prime Minister Modi extended heartfelt thanks to the citizens for their trust and acknowledged the contributions of BJP workers and others who have supported his public journey. Describing the people as his greatest strength, Modi underscored the importance of serving humanity and working collaboratively to advance the nation.

Modi also shared his enduring passion for learning, recalling his school days in Vadnagar and describing himself as a lifelong student. This eagerness to learn, he noted, has been a constant throughout his career.

Highlighting India’s growing capabilities in aviation, Modi mentioned the bravery of Indian pilot Smit Machchhar during a recent incident with a flydubai flight. He expressed optimism that the world would soon witness aircraft manufactured in India, illustrating the nation’s advancing technological prowess.

Concluding his address, Modi called for continued collective efforts to realize the country’s development goals, aiming for a stronger, more self-reliant India by 2047.
