In a celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s enduring political career, India has launched a nationwide campaign to commemorate his 25 years in public office. The campaign, known as the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan, kicked off in Vadnagar, the birthplace of Modi, highlighting his journey from Gujarat’s chief minister to the nation’s leader.

A key feature of this initiative is a motorcycle rally that spans from Vadnagar to Varanasi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the rally on Thursday, with hundreds of bikers participating in the journey. A parallel rally was initiated from Varanasi to Vadnagar by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Both rallies are scheduled to conclude on October 7, the anniversary of Modi’s appointment as Gujarat’s chief minister in 2001.

The rallies, each featuring around 300 bikers, will traverse multiple states and rural areas, aiming to engage communities and showcase Modi’s contributions to Indian governance. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to highlight the milestones of Modi’s public service.

Amit Shah emphasized the campaign’s goal of introducing younger generations to Modi’s political journey and achievements. By bringing the significance of Modi’s 25-year milestone to the public, the BJP hopes to reinforce his influence and legacy across the nation.

As the rallies progress through various regions, they not only celebrate Modi’s career but also aim to strengthen the connection between the BJP and the Indian populace. The campaign underscores the significance of leadership in shaping the country’s political landscape.
